1. System Overview
- TITAN is a self-contained, stand-alone system that can be deployed for either mobile or fixed-site operations, providing fully automated or manually controlled counter-UAV capabilities.
- TITAN can also operate as part of a layered counter-UAV (C-UAS) defense solution.
2. Purpose
- TITAN detects and neutralizes (defeats) radio frequency (RF)-controlled UAVs, including UAVs operating across multiple frequency bands, and is capable of jamming Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals.
- The system is designed to protect critical assets and infrastructure.
- Suitable for countering Group 1 UAVs and selected Group 2 UAVs.
3. Principle of Operation
The system consists of two subsystems: an electronic surveillance subsystem and an electronic attack (jamming) subsystem.
The surveillance subsystem utilizes interception receivers to detect and decode control signals and data-link communications between the UAV and its ground control station (operator). Depending on the UAV type, the system can provide target detection data and/or parameters such as geographical coordinates, range, altitude, and speed of the UAV.
Based on information obtained from the surveillance subsystem, the jamming subsystem performs electronic attack operations by either generating deceptive signals (signal spoofing/simulation) or conducting broadband suppression of UAV command-and-control links, data transmission links, and GNSS navigation signals.
- Protected area radius: approximately 3 km.
